Retail Sales and Inventory Reporting Solutions of the Year 2026
Why does inventory planning break down for mid-size manufacturers? For mid-size manufacturers working with large retail partners, inventory planning often breaks down at a specific point. As product assortments expand and selling environments grow complex, spreadsheets no longer hold up, and enterprise planning systems remain too expensive and resource-intensive to implement. Teams are expected to track demand shifts, manage allocations and determine buy levels with precision with manual analysis and fragmented tools. Enhanced Retail Solutions (ERS) was purpose-built to help mid-size businesses improve inventory planning. It combines customized analytics, AI-driven forecasting intelligence refined over more than a decade and hands-on expertise into a system that advances planning capabilities without the investment and internal demands of enterprise systems. “Our inventory planning solution is geared to those companies that want to bring a much more powerful and customizable tool set with baked-in intelligence to their company, but at a much more affordable price and a much more easily integratable product,” says James Lewis, CEO. How does ERS customize planning tools to individual business models? Differentiating ERS is the way customization shapes how the system is built and used. Instead of locking clients into fixed screens and predefined logic, ERS configures views, metrics, time frames and calculations around how each business evaluates performance. This flexibility supports a range of product categories, each with distinct selling patterns and planning requirements..
3D Visualization
What you see is what you get’ (WYSIWYG)—this concept from web development perfectly fits the modern audience drawn to what they can see and understand. E-commerce is becoming increasingly visual in order to keep up with the trend. Be it reels, posts and stories for marketing or websites where visualizations have started taking over 50 percent of the space. Businesses must consistently create engaging visuals to stay competitive. However, the rising demand for high-quality visualizations has outpaced companies’ traditional content creation methods. imagine.io addresses this challenge with its innovative web platform, which streamlines the creation of diverse visual content for marketing efforts. What sets the platform apart is its emphasis on simplicity and accessibility. Unlike traditional tools, imagine.io enables users to create visuals without expertise or a team of specialists. Its intuitive, WYSIWYG-based design ensures that anyone can navigate the platform and produce high-quality visuals with just a few clicks. “Our platform’s user-friendliness allows clients to easily create meaningful visualizations, giving them control over their marketing journey without waiting months to launch a product,” says Preet Sahil Singh, CEO and co-founder. When manufacturers conceptualize a product, they begin with sketches that evolve into CAD designs. However, once the product is ready for production, the accumulated 3D data is often shelved and overlooked—especially in content creation, where visuals are built from scratch. imagine.io transforms this process by repurposing existing 3D data to generate high-fidelity digital visualizations at an economical and significantly faster pace. This streamlines content creation while reducing waste. The platform produces a wide range of visuals, including silhouettes, vignettes, close-up shots, dimension shots, lifestyle illustrations, videos, augmented reality and immersive 360-degree experiences—all without needing a physical studio. imagine.io also serves clients who lack the necessary 3D data, as was the case for Taylor Jones, the current marketing lead at imagine.io and former customer. Impressed by the experience as a previous head of eCommerce, he joined in to spread the message.
Apparel
Made-to-measure (MTM) clothing is no longer confined to luxury boutiques. FormcutAt FORMCUT we use 3D body scan technology to make Made-to-Measure shirts. Download our App or contact us to learn more about our business solutions. , a retail apparel and fashion technology company with decades of experience in the apparel industry, is unlocking the lucrative potential of MTM for retailers of all sizes and bringing single-unit manufacturing to every price point. “Our private-label, scan-to-factory program empowers specialty menswear retailers and department stores to deliver made-to-measure and mass-customized garments at scale,” says Andre D’Elia, Formcut’s Chief Product Officer. For many retailers, efficiently scaling the MTM processes remains a challenge. When multiple staff members take measurements, inconsistencies arise, which can impact the fit and quality of garments. Traditional single-unit manufacturing is also known to be a slow process, rendering retailers unable to cater to customers in volume. Formcut’s platform comes with a proprietary body scanning application that captures 249 body measurements in under a minute using any smartphone or iPad. Then, Formcut’s proprietary fit logic converts body measurements into finished garment dimensions, accounting for body shape and customer preferences, which are shared with partner factories to produce garments that fit perfectly. For many clients working with Formcut, the results are already visible. Customers are actively engaged through the body measurement capture process, customization of finished products and a more confident shopping experience. The result is increased customer loyalty, higher average order value, and greater repeat purchases. Its turnkey, on-demand solution is available in two forms, designed for the distinct needs of in-store and e-commerce retailers. In physical stores, an iPad installed in the fitting room scans customers as they pose from the front and the side. From the scan, the customer can create MTM clothing using Formcut’s 3D configurator or can see recommended sizes by that store’s brands.

Inventory Intelligence as a Competitive Advantage
At the center of this issue is Enhanced Retail Solutions, which stands out for Retail Sales and Inventory Reporting Solutions of the Year 2026. As detailed in the company profile, ERS addresses a structural gap facing mid-size manufacturers serving large retail partners. When spreadsheets create fragmentation and enterprise systems prove cost prohibitive, ERS delivers a configurable analytics platform built around IntelligentRetail.net. Its AI-refined forecasting intelligence, customized performance views, and extended demand projections enable organizations to align buy recommendations with real inventory positions and measurable sell-through logic. By combining adaptable software with ongoing advisory support, ERS strengthens planning rigor while remaining operationally practical. The company’s focus on flexibility, accountability, and measurable planning discipline reflects the kind of execution increasingly required by today’s retail environment.
In parallel, leadership accountability is evolving. Tiffani (Cage) Wollbrinck, Sr. Director, Global Talent Management & Development at Levi Strauss & Co., argues that AI capability must be embedded across the workforce to ensure sustained adaptability and productivity. Laura Klopatek, Vice President, Corporate HR at H&R Block, reinforces that People & Culture must influence enterprise decisions with business fluency, not operate as a support function.
Collectively, these voices reinforce a clear thesis. Technology delivers measurable value when paired with disciplined execution and accountable leadership. We invite you to explore this edition and consider how data precision, cultural alignment, and structured planning intelligence are defining the next phase of retail performance.
