Virginie Costa joins as Global Chief Financial Officer, one of only seven women among the top 25 beauty businesses' CFOs overseeing global finance activities. Hugh Dineen comes as President of Global Brands and Global Chief Marketing Officer, while Gretchen Koback Pursel joins as Global Chief People Officer. The appointments, which are effective immediately, support Wella Company's growth strategy, which began on December 1, 2020, when the company regained its independent operating status, led by Kohlberg Kravis and Roberts ('KKR'), a leading global investment firm that owns a majority stake in the company.
Wella Company employs over 6,000 people worldwide and operates in over 100 countries. The Wella Brand Leadership Team, led by CEO Annie Young-Scrivner, comprises executives from Europe, the Americas, Latam/Brazil, and the Asia Pacific. She is one of only two women to lead a leading global cosmetics company.
